Our complimentary services are aimed at supplying debt advice to those who live mainly within Plymouth with some surrounding areas and currently having debts they require assistance with.

Plymouth Focus Advice Centre

Information

Plymouth Focus help people to work out affordable budgets to help repay debts and to help people manage their spending in line with the income they have available.

We can work with people who are worried about debt, in terms of advice on how to best deal with the debts they have. Sometimes we are able to help people apply for small grants to help deal with a specific problem.

We are able to work out whether people are getting the correct benefit entitlement, including assisting with new benefit claim forms. Our drop-in centre is open weekly – offering free, independent and confidential advice to the general public within the Mutley and Greenbank areas of Plymouth on money related issues.

The drop-in centre is open on Saturday mornings from 10am to 12pm

Benefits: If you are uncertain about which benefit you are entitled to now or in the future, or if you wish to appeal against a decision by the Department of Work and Pensions.

Debt and Money: Do you need help with dealing with your debts, support with budgeting and managing your money.

Tax: Do you pay tax on savings? Compensation, redundancy, pay etc.

Water debt: If you have a debt with South West Water and need help the Fresh Start team are here to help you find a solution.
