Every Wednesday, a team from Mutley Baptist Church prepare and serve on Plymouth Soup Run. As well as food, the team are always well stocked with clothes and toiletries. Plymouth Soup Run
A Hope Baptist Church team goes out on Plymouth Soup Run every Monday, usually supported by businesses and other groups in the city. This Monday, volunteers from Plymouth Labour helped Vicky in the kitchen, and others from Saltash Health Centre served on the run. Hope Baptist Church organised Plymouth Soup Run on a wet but peaceful Monday night. Bev, Jaide and voluteers from HM Land Registry Plymouth Office were in the kitchen. Once again, a huge thank you to A&B Potatoes and Harbourside Fish & Chips for their very generous donation. Everyone was delighted with the piping hot chips, a real treat, served with pasties/sausage rolls and snacks. A busy Sunday evening serving 121 meals but plenty of food for everyone. To be precise, they served 95 people on the run plus 9 more bags of food for friends/family not able to get to one of the stops.
